Temperature and Precipitation
The average temperature in a tropical rainforest biome is around 26 degrees Celsius (79 degrees Fahrenheit.) The average precipitation in the biome is 223 centimeters (88 inches). There is very poor nutrients in the soil in these regions, due to all of the rain the biome receives, there is a very thin layer of organic material decomposing. There are a few seasons. There is 2 seasons of rain and 2 brief months of dryness.

Venus Fly Trap
A special adaption that the venus fly trap has it is grows in soil with very poor nutrients which is great since that the tropical rainforest that it can grow in don't have soil rich in nutrients. Venus fly traps use a sticky, sweet substance to get their prey to fly into their traps.
